Storage tank restoration program for Norcen Energy Resources (Union Pacific Energy) at Taber North, AB.
The project was performed in late October 1997, so control of ambient conditions was accomplished by use of hoarding with insulated tarps, and heating with 1,000,000 BTU of indirect fired heat.
All internal linings are Devoe Devchem 253, with Devoe Devmat 111 used on the lower shell and floor areas of the storage tanks.
Surface preparation and tank linings applied by Ar - Tech Coatings, Taber, AB.
All inspection of internal linings and performed by NWS Inspection Inc.
