City of Calgary Transit System LRT station handrails prior to restoration showing complete breakdown of existing coating due to mechanical damage from snow removal equipment and public use, and corrosion from soluble chlorides (salt) for ice removal.
The entire structure had to be hoarded during power washing, abrasive blasting, and coating application to ensure public could still use the transit system during handrail restoration.
All surface preparation and coating application inspected by NWS Inspection Inc.
