Jet fuel storage tanks at a major international airport required encapsulation of twenty-five year old lead based paints to provide smooth, non-chalking surface for bright colored cartoons.
NWS Inspection Inc. performed lead content and adhesion testing to ensure existing coating met encapsulation requirements.
All surfaces to be coated were prepared using Devoe Devprep 88, spot primed with Devoe Bar Rust 235, and then topcoated with Devoe Devthane 369 urethane.
All cartoons were also applied using Devoe Devthane 369 urethane.
